Our Analysis / Opinion
Everything about BSG Property (also known as Boon Siew Group) I can related is quality and price i.e. above average quality and high price. Yeah you heard me, expensive and above average quality. (I choose not to use the word “GOOD Quality” because no matter how famous a project is there will also be complaints. So my “above average quality” you can take it as good quality.)
If you read my previous article, you might feel or sense that I will share both pros and cons of a project. Although it might not be as detailed as that kind of technical like architects, I will try my best to share and what I know shall be what you will know. I will use some neutral words just in case not to over-bias and do bear in mind that nothing is perfect ya.
If you’re talking about location Middleton is also one of the great location project because it is really located at the middle of Penang Island.
Currently Middleton is having a minimal capital appreciation now or I should say the price remain stagnant.
Most of the units here are occupied for own stay purpose and there’s only limited unit for rent. The rental market here is not as hot / popular as the Light City or northern side of Penang Island like Georgetown & Tanjung Tokong area.
The rental ROI for Middleton around 3% +/-. Yes it is kinda low, so, I wouldn’t say it is a very good investment if you want to flip here. Market demand is not that high here.
A little bit challenge to sell your unit here because of the surrounding project is competing with Middleton as well such as The Light City, Georgetown area property & so on.
Well, I kinda like the peaceful and cool / windy environment here. If you like quiet space you should arrange a visit and take a walk here.
