Bayu Ferringhi was completed around year 2011
As far as I know as at April 2024, there’s one potential hotel by the same developer on the left hand side of Bayu Ferringhi, I couldn’t see any land on the left hand side and I don’t know how they gonna build it.
And I am afraid to making comments like “there won’t be anything in front anymore”, as long as there’s land, there’s possibility just like opposite Queensbay Mall, Gurney Drive & etc.
Not saying you shouldn’t buy Bayu Ferringhi just that I cannot promise there won’t be something blocking your view and at the moment, the view is fantastic, fascinating.
Another BONUS would be the Gurney Wharf project by Penang Government which would spend about Rm 200 million to further enhance the environment and property price of this area!
No sales package anymore because there’s no more developer unit left for this project but I do personally able to help, recommend in certain aspect like recommending solicitors, renovation, utility service/ advice & etc.
P/s: there’s 1 more 1,777 square feet by the developer at low floor, drop me a text now.
Yes you can. However, if it is a new project / under-constructions / developer’s unit , developers are giving free legal fees ya.
Developers would be happy if you help them save cost.
However, if it is completed property from developer, do check properly what kind of defect they will rectify for you, because the terms listed in the sales & purchase agreement (SPA) for completed property is different than the new project. In another words, unfair to you as a buyer.

Is Bayu Ferringhi Good for Own Stay Purpose?
To be honest, Bayu Ferringhi’s quality is kinda good, I’d say above average, I cannot say the best because definitely there’ll always be better and each person carries different opinions. So, I’d say above average for the quality even after 13 years it is still well-maintained as at year 2024 when I am writing this.
Let’s come back to if Bayu Ferringhi is really good for own stay/ own use purpose. If you like quiet place, peaceful, this is the right place for you, it will take you about 15 mintues driving distance to get to small town, amenities like Tanjung Bungah, Tanjung Tokong area. To get to Georgetown, you will spend at least 20-25 minutes off peak hours.
Therefore, if you like quiet, windy, peaceful place, this is it, take a look at Bayu Ferringhi.
Is Bayu Ferringhi Good for Investment ?
Personally, I don’t think Batu Ferringhi is a good investment spot unless there’s increase in demand, increase in commercial activity and the paired road is done. So over all I’d say Batu Ferringhi is only good for those retirement purpose, holiday, weekend purpose and suitable for those who like quiet, peaceful environment.
Is it easy to sell Bayu Ferringhi in the foreseeable future?
At the moment, not so easy to sell any property in Batu Ferringhi unless you sell it below market value, means you bought it first hand and cheap originally.
Anyhow, just personal opinion, transaction is still there, just not as hot as those Tanjung Tokong area, let’s chat.
