Yes you can. However, if it is a new project / under-constructions / developer’s unit , developers are giving free legal fees ya. 

Developers would be happy if you help them save cost.

However, if it is completed property from developer, do check properly what kind of defect they will rectify for you, because the terms listed in the sales & purchase agreement (SPA) for completed property is different than the new project. In another words, unfair to you as a buyer.

Is Goodwood Residence a Good Buy ?

Our Analysis / Opinion

1,075sf and 1,250sf from 3 bedrooms
Estimated completion year in 2025

I think it is ok, comparing to nearby condominium like Fiera Vista, Tree Sparina, The Amarene, Solaria, Lucerne & etc, it is having a lesser total unit. So if you like a development with lesser unit, definitely can consider Goodwood and the green building feature is definitely another feature / bonus to this building. 

To put it simple, green building store/ save water, save energy consumption with solar panel installed and prolonged building life span. So, I would say another bonus for this project.

I’m not too sure to be honest, considering everything is expensive now and the nearby competitor Lucerne Residence by Ideal is also selling pretty much more or less same price, same size. 

A lower total unit compare to Lucerne Residence, I would say you can exit the market (sell Goodwood) slightly easier than other projects.

Ops, just answered the question at the top, it is easy compare to other building unless, the building quality is bad during completion or poorly managed then it is another story. I do not imply that Goodwood might have problems in workmanship but I would rather not to over-promise.

I’ve seen so many projects where the buyer’s expectation and the actual project (the building) doesn’t match. So, for every new project I will definitely insert similar comment. This is the risk that every buyer will face when purchasing new project. If you prefer a lower risk just head to subsale/ resale property market but you will have to come out with higher down payment, legal fees and etc.

Well, what I like is the green building features and lesser unit development compared to other condominium project in this area. I will add in more comments when the building is complete and do a video review too.
