I do not stay / own or sell much property here, this is not my main focus area so therefore I think i’m not suppose to conclude if Dahlia Garden is good for your own stay purpose. However, if you want an ownership of a landed property, this is a good spot. There’s a lots of people from Penang Island and other states looking at this area too because a double storey terrace house at Penang Island

This particular area is full of landed property, of course there’s some minor high-rise / condominium like Palm Garden and Avenue Garden by the same developer Tambun Indah Land. So, in my own words, I will call them a “high density” landed property area. 

I do believe most of the purchasers will buy for own stay/ own usage purpose however if you plan to sell your unit here in the foreseeable future, you will have a lots of competitors as well from the earlier phases. People / your future buyers will have some options to choose from. However, I think you can still earn some amount of profit compared to high-rise / high density condominium in Penang Island. You need some patience, this is not stock / share market.

I can’t provide a rental ROI for Dahlia Garden but one thing you should know is that landed property in Malaysia usually don’t earn a very good rental return. You can consider convert your house to AirBnb / homestay business. You might earn better than long term stay.
